Dawn King named MEAC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) named FAMU’s Dawn King its Rookie of the Week for women’s basketball.

King (Fr., 5-9, G, Waxahachie, Texas) shot 73-percent (11-of-15) from the floor, including 49-percent from behind the 3-point line (3-of-7), to finish with 26 points and three rebounds in a 55-50 win against South Carolina State.
