FAMU welcomes 2014-2015 class of Life Gets Better Scholars

FAMU President Elmira Mangum and Vice President for Student Affairs William Hudson recently presented the 2014-2015 class of Life Gets Better Scholars with laptops and iPads to assist them in their academic pursuits.

Life Gets Better Scholars are designated National Achievement, Hispanic, or Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Corporation, having a 3.50 high school GPA and having an 1800 on the SAT or 27 on the ACT.

The 2014-2014 class of Life Gets Better Scholars are: Michaela Allen (Mobile, Ala. / Biology), Deja Goodson (Fayetteville, Ga. / Pre-Med Biology), Devin Hodge (McDonough, Ga. / Biology), Quentin Lewis (Douglasville, Ga. / Computer Engineering), Kevin Lukose (Tampa, Fla. / Pre-Med Biology), Nortory Mack (Tallahassee, Fla. / Biology), Audriana Osborne (Montgomery, Ala. / Pre-Law English) Omari Reeves-Miller (Woodstock, Ga. / Pre-Med Biology), Alexandria Thomas (Orlando, Fla. / Biology), and Carley Tramble (Birmingham, Ala. / Pre-Vetenarian Animal Science).
